Introduction to the Member's Section

The member’s section is the “heart and soul” of OSPA. This is where members can chat, share files, track projects and post ideas. This brief introduction will orient the new member to the functions of the member’s area.

This is the first page that the member will see upon logging in. This page will show the most recent entries in each category.
By default, your calendar is private, but you can make entries public when creating them. This is a useful tool for tracking your daily activities.
This is the internal membership directory, and provides contact information for each member. If your information is incorrect, each member is able to modify and update their own information by clicking on their name.
This is a public chat available to all OSPA members. This is also where board meetings are normally held. Board meetings are public, and any member is invited to participate or observe. Planned board meetings will be announced no less than 24 hours in advance.
The OSPA forum is utilized for discussing issues relating to current projects, as well as any OPSEC issues. All members may create forum postings.
The files section hosts awareness materials and other resources for download. Clicking on the file name will display information about the file. Clicking on the file image (such as the zip image) will allow the user to download that file.
The projects section allows the creation and tracking of OSPA projects. Any member may create projects and invite participants. Clicking on the project name will display information about that project, as well as allow the member to add notes, todo items and more. The category menu allow for project tracking, from ordered to complete.
The timecard is not currently used in the membership area, but members are free to do so as they see fit.
The notes section stores notes that were created within projects, as well as allowing members to create and store notes accessible to other members.
The HelpDesk is not currently used in the membership area, but members are free to do so as they see fit.
The mail section allows members to send email to other members through the site. Your stored emails are private and cannot be read by other members. You may select one or more recipients by clicking on their name.
The ToDo section stores ToDo items created within projects, as well as allowing members to create and store entries accessible to other members.
