The National OPSEC Conference has been rescheduled. It will be held at the Gaylord National in Washington, D. C. The conference will start on Tuesday, September 7th and run through Friday, September 10th. Tuesday will consist of registration starting at approximately noon with some sessions scheduled in the afternoon.

Please be sure to check the IOSS website at www.ioss.gov in the coming days for additional information including registration.

Registration is now open! The OSPA social will be on Wednesday night from 5pm til we drop! Come by the OSPA booth for location.

TO HELP WITH YOUR TRAVEL PLANS…
·         There is no fee for this conference!
·         Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the closet airport to the Gaylord National Hotel.
·         The Federal Per Diem rate for the Washington, DC, area is $300 per day ($229 for lodging and $71 for meals/incidentals).
·         The Gaylord Hotel is prepared to take your room reservations now! They will offer you a standard (double queen or single king) room or an Atrium View room.  The standard room is $229 per night. The Atrium View is $269 per night. You can access the secure, on-line reservation system from www.iad.gov/events website.
Guest Room/Hotel Amenities:  Refrigerators; In-room wireless and high-speed Internet access (Note that wired and wireless Internet access in the Conference Center and meeting areas is not included. Access in those areas must be arranged through the meeting group.); Two dual-line telephones with speakerphones (one is cordless); Bedside alarm clock equipped with MP3 auxiliary input; Modem data port; In-room safe fitted with AC outlet, designed to accommodate and recharge laptop computers; Personal coffee maker, with complimentary coffee and tea; Full-size iron and ironing board .
Reservation Cut-off:  The cut-off date for accepting reservations into this block is 14 August 2010. Reservation requests received after 5:00 p.m. local time at the hotel on the cut-off date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
Check-In:  3:00 p.m. Check-Out:  11:00 a.m. Your luggage can be stored until your departure at the Bell Desk after you check out. 
Hotel Parking:  Self parking $15 per night with in/out privileges. Public parking lots in the National Harbor area charge approximately $10 per day but do not have in/out privileges. Valet Parking: $28.
