OSPA Members and Guests

Everyone that visits this site or utilizes OSPA resources is valuable to The Operations Security Professional's Association.

We believe that everyone deserves safety and the basic liberties that many of us take for granted. We also believe that everyone deserves access to the information that they need to achieve that goal*. For this reason, we consider the "OSPEC community" to be Millions strong and growing.

To this end, OSPA maintains two basic philosophies for making information available:

OSPA Members are generally professional or dedicated OPSEC practitioners that require advanced OPSEC material, tools and collaboration. These are the individuals that are fighting for OPSEC, either personally or professionally, and desire full support for their OPSEC program. These members join to have a vote and help guide the direction of the Association, and want to are involved in expanding the OPSEC discipline.

OSPA Guests are the unsung heroes of the OPSEC world. These are generally the individuals that want to understand OPSEC, or to help spread the word of what it can do in our professional or personal lives. OSPA believes that these individuals deserve to have infinite awareness and training material available to use as they see fit, and will support their efforts whenever possible.

OSPA's position is evident in the name. "Professional's" is not a typo, it's ownership. It's the OPSEC community that owns OSPA, and we will never forget that responsibility.

* An important note: OSPA is registered in the United States, and maintains an unwaivering loyalty to the Nation. Similarly, OSPA members come from many Allied Nations, and have demonstrated the same National fidelity. OSPA will not, under any circumstances, knowingly provide OPSEC training or information to entities that may use it for any advantage against friendly Nations.
